BIRG Technology participated in GITEX AI Europe 2026 in Berlin as part of the Serbian business delegation organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia. The event brought together leading technology companies, innovators, and industry experts, providing an opportunity to showcase our AI-driven solutions, connect with potential partners, and explore new opportunities for collaboration.
In June, Birg Tech participated in SpliTech 2026, an international conference focused on smart and sustainable technologies. Our team presented two scientific papers highlighting the application of AI and machine learning to real-world environmental and societal challenges. The event provided an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge, foster collaboration, and showcase our research on an international stage.
Our four AI engineers had the opportunity to visit Microsoft in Zurich and exchange ideas firsthand. Great discussion at Microsoft Zurich on AI Agents and their real business impact. Clear takeaway: AI is moving from generation to execution.
Our colleague Isidora, in collaboration with Argus Data Insights, presented the newly developed AI Proofreading Tool as a part of the presentation on "Innovative Engagement Solutions and Enhancing Customer Experiences through AI Proofreading" at the FIBEP Tech Day in Berlin. Built to handle real-world media complexity – multilingual, scalable, and insight-driven.
We developed a multimodal ML system that combines image and sound analysis to classify ceramic roof tiles as First-Class, Defective, or Discard. Using controlled image capture, acoustic profiling, and defect-specific classifiers (shape, cracks, hooks, hollowness), the system improves inspection accuracy, reduces manual errors, and streamlines production quality control. The project was presented by Damnjan Milić at EEML in Sarajevo.
Birg Tech had the pleasure of supporting the very first ML August summer school at Petnica Science Center — a dynamic new program focused on machine learning education for motivated students and young researchers.
