In June, Birg Tech participated in SpliTech 2026, an international conference dedicated to smart and sustainable technologies, bringing together researchers, industry experts, and innovators from around the world.
As part of the conference, our colleagues Miloš Košprdić, Isidora Dekić, and Damnjan Milić presented two scientific papers showcasing Birg Tech’s work in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data-driven systems:
- Monitoring Illegal Dumpsites Using Sentinel-2 Satellite Imagery and Machine Learning
- Agentic AI Pipeline for Trustworthy Monitoring of Harmful Online Narratives in Smart Public Information Systems
The conference marked an important milestone for Birg Tech, representing the company’s first scientific paper presentations at an international conference. It also provided an excellent opportunity to demonstrate how advanced AI technologies can be applied to solve real-world environmental and societal challenges.
Throughout the event, our team exchanged knowledge with experts from academia and industry, explored emerging technologies, and discussed future opportunities for research collaboration and innovation.
